'BrightRoot' was born from a vision to introduce authentic Neapolitan pizza to London. In 1985, the Davies family opened a quaint and familial pizzeria, bringing to life cherished recipes passed through generations.
Emily Davies, our patriarch, mastered traditional pizza-making during her Italian sojourn, particularly in Naples—pizza's homeland. After returning to the UK, her resolve to craft the quintessential Italian pizza experience was unwavering, emphasising time-honoured techniques and top-notch ingredients.
Our journey began in a humble 12-seater pizzeria and has since evolved into a renowned community fixture, yet our dedication to supreme quality and genuine craft remains steadfast. We continue the legacy through wood-fire oven baking, daily dough preparation, and the procurement of the finest quality provisions.
Presently, 'BrightRoot' thrives under the devoted stewardship of the Davies lineage's second generation, who carry forward the battalion with the same fervour. While innovation has seeped in, the essence of our enterprise endures: to unite people around delicious, true Italian pizza.
